Abstract

Despite "what has probably been the most vigorous campaign ever waged against the concept of relativistic mass" (M. Jammer, Concepts of Mass in Contemporary Physics and Philosophy (Princeton University Press, Princeton 2000) p. 51) it is argued that the relativistic increase of the mass is an experimental fact.
