Plan S Compliance
A group of national research funding organisations, with the support of the European Commission and the European Research Council (ERC) has launched Plan S. With effect from 2021, all scholarly publications on the results from research funded by Plan S members must be published in Open Access Journals, on Open Access Platforms, or made immediately available through Open Access Repositories without embargo. The Phil-Sci Archive is a repository compliant with Plan S requirements. We have High quality article level metadata in standard interoperable non-proprietary format, under a CC0 public domain dedication. Below you will find instructions to post your papers according to Plan S. For general instructions about how to post your paper, click here.
- Authors should post information on the DOI (or other PIDs) both of the original publication and the deposited version. If the author is posting an already published record, add the DOI. If the author wants to update an already existing record with a DOI, follow the instructions here.
- Authors should post information on the version deposited. When you upload the document, there is a "Content" field that allows the user to select "Accepted Version" or "Published Version". By default, this is "Unspecified"
Authors should post information on the Open Access status and the license of the deposited version. When uploading a file, in the additional options, tick the relevant one. By default, this field is "Unspecified".
- Metadata must include complete and reliable information on funding provided by cOAlition S funders (including as a minimum the name of the funder and the grant number/identifier). Add the relevant information in the additional information field.
