Abstract
This is a draft manuscript (forthcoming in Palgrave Macmillan's Pivot series) of a book that examines the philosophy of disease; in particular, the book focuses (1) on the concept of disease, and (2) on concepts of causation, and causal inference in clinical medicine and epidemiology.
